Elinart - lichen and mould...

Here's a new discovery! Elinart has some wonderfully unusual pieces - ranging from objets d'art to wearable accessories - like this brooch. Very wearable and beautiful.

Elin says 'my 'elinart' shop is, for me, a place to experiment and play. Most items are one-offs or limited editions. I like to follow my nose and enjoy exploring shapes and species.'

Mondays and Serenity

Well - always start Monday with so much will to get on with things..then take one look at my 2 year old Luca and then the state of the house and have to rethink everything!

Had a moment of serenity at the weekend with a photography session in our house next door. It's still a true shabby French house full of charm. My birthday bouquet of pink roses inspired me to take a series of shots - including this one. Lookout for a print in the Etsy store.

here's a clutch I did earlier

Hey - I'm looking for feedback guys! did this clutch using some unbleached vintage french linen and finished it with a layered corsage using some recycled cottons and crochet. Do you think I should do more like these? The size of this one is quite large with an 8ins clasp frame with the base measuring about 10ins. Maybe a coin purse version would work better?

This tangle leafy print stitched into old french vintage linen is one of three pieces new in the etsy shop this week.

The look is deliberately shabby vintage with distressed finish.
