in a Pink moment today. There's a Spring feeling here today and we're still in January! Loving it..makes me think of fresh sorbet colours - hence the pink queen anne lace print.

Stitched and woven linens - current work in the studio

I studied weave, embroidery and print at Glasgow School of Art (10 years ago now..where did the time go??). I am creating a collection of home accessories using my weave (see image above front), stitched canvases - see middle print, and hand stitched and embroidered linen pieces - top- for cushions,scented sachets and other humble, homely, covetable things..look out for these in the vnext while in my etsy store!

My Old French House

Well I had one of those days yesterday when my projects just fell together sweetly, with little effort. I love those days and wish they were all as enjoyable as that. We have an old 400year old house attached to our barn conversion which has remained untouched since we bought it in November. There are some lovely old dusty pieces of French charm that just long to be photographed.

TTV shots (taken through the viewfinder of an old vintage camera using a digital camera) capture it perfectly. Here is one for starters -

Vintage French Ephemera Digital Downloads

New in my Etsy store today are some downloadable collage sheets using my mother's old botany cards, old china teacups and an old French accountant's scrawled handwriting from a dusty old ledger.! Great for really personal scrapbooking projects

Out shopping at Lidl today ( I love Lidl - not fancy, not glam - but oh so reliable and stress free when you have so few groceries to choos from and 2 children to keep happy through it all) I finally took some snaps of the charming old calligraphy monograms on the cellar hatches you see on the road into town. I love it!!
